• FLG WELCOMES JAMES PARRETT TO STABLE

    It is with great pleasure that we welcome the multi-award winning sculptor James Parrett to the FLG stable. We were first introduced to James' practice in 2007 when he was a finalist in our annual emerging artist award Exploration and have continued to follow his practice over the years since. James has exhibited widely around Australia and attained an impressive level of recognition through his participation in various national sculpture awards and successful public art commissions. We look forward to supporting James' practice and showcasing his work.

  • NOW REPRESENTING LIZ PRIESTLEY

    It's an absolute delight to announce that NSW painter Liz Priestley has joined the FLG stable. Liz first exhibited her sublime, romantic landscapes with us as part of Exploration 23 last year and we instantly fell in love with the evocative quality of her encaustic wax paintings. Liz has exhibited extensively throughout NSW and the ACT and is looking forward to bringing her work to Melbourne audiences. ⁠

  • Kathrin Longhurst on show at Maitland Regional Gallery

    Kathrin Longhurst’s impactful works are currently on show at Maitland Regional Gallery as part of SETTLED/UNSETTLED, alongside fellow artists Longhu Mehwish Iqbal, Angus McDonald and Penny Byrne.⁠ This exhibition explores issues of war and cultural displacement through the lens of asylum-seeker, refugee, and migrant experiences. By investigating the themes of conflict and exile, home and belonging, Settled/Unsettled contributes to the movement of empowerment and acceptance.⁠ This exhibition runs until June 9th.

    Kim Anderson exhibited at DRAW Space through March 2024, alongside twelve artists in the group show 'Detail' curated by Jeremy Smith. The exhibition showcased the complex and intricate world of detailed drawings, focusing on time, labour and beauty.

    Annika Romeyn is showing at Canberra Contemporary Art Space Lakeside as part of 'With Nature' a group exhibition featuring artists who have collaborated with the environment, allowing the landscape to shape their work. On until April 6.
