  • Hannah Quinlivan: Finalist 2017 Churchie Emerging Art Prize

    The very talented Hannah Quinlivan has been announced as one of the 30 finalists for 'the churchie' 2017. A national art prize, the overall winner will be rewarded with a $15,000 non-acquisitive cash prize sponsored by Brand + Slater. The QUT Art Museum exhibition runs from 11 November - 17 December.

  • MICHELLE MOLINARI: ROMANCING THE SKULL AT THE ART GALLERY OF BALLARAT

    FLG artist Michelle Molinari has been curated into the Art Gallery of Ballarat's current group exhibition Romancing the Skull. The exhibition explores themes of mortality, politics and rebellion and runs from 14 Oct 2017 to 28 Jan 2018. Here is the lovely artist standing beside her piece 'Vanitas', oil on panel.

  • Kathrin Longhurst: Finalist in the 2017 Doug Moran

    Kathrin Longhurst has been announced as a finalist in the $150,000 Doug Moran National Portrait Prize 2017 for her painting Alex (Portrait of Alex Perry), oil on linen, 180 x 180cm. This year's award will be judged by Daniel Thomas AM, Wendy Sharpe and Greta Moran, with the winner being announced on the18th October. We wish Kathrin the best of luck!
