    A big congratulations to Michael Simms! His painting 'Hostage' was Highly Commended at the Naked and Nude Art Prize at Manning Regional Gallery. This year the prize was judged by Denise Mimmocchi, the senior curator of Australian art at the Art Gallery of NSW.

This new suite of works can be viewd at Tacit Gallery - 123a Gipps Street Collingwood, Melbourne, from the 18th of September until the 13th of October 2019 with opening celebrations on Wednesday the 18th between 6.30 and 8pm.

    Congratulations to Annika Romeyn who was the recipient of the Commendation Prize at the official opening and awards ceremony of the Banyule Award for Works on Paper 2019. Works from forty contemporary artists were selected from a pool of 439 entrants, you can view Annika's award-winning work Verge 2 (detail above) in the finalist's exhibition held at Hatch Contemporary Artspace, Ivanhoe till Spetember 4th.
