“The use of an infinity mirror in this piece represents the feeling of being in limbo, of being caught in a situation where you cannot see any change coming or a way out. The figure here is seen watching a moth, a distraction, rather than facing what lies ahead. The title ‘Green Flash’ references the natural optical phenomena of a green light appearing very briefly at sunset or sunrise just as the sun passes the horizon.”
